Stress-Free Semi-Hollow F-Hole Installation

Installing electronics through a semi-hollow f-hole is notoriously difficult. Tone Man Guitar solves this by hand-soldering each hollowbody harness on custom-drilled templates that match exact body spacing. Components feed smoothly through the f-hole as a unified assembly with built-in wire slack to prevent binding.

ES-335 vs. ES-339 Fitment Specifications

  • ES-335 / Archtop Models: Standard 500K short-shaft Bourns pots with Switchcraft right-angle toggle switch and braided wire.
  • ES-339 / Tighter F-Holes: Engineered for narrower f-hole openings (minimum 1-1/8" clearance) found on modern Epiphone Inspired by Gibson models.
