Upgrade your guitar with the Tone Man Guitar Premium Explorer wiring harness. This prewired harness is built for Gibson and Epiphone Explorer guitars with 3 controls in line (2 volume, 1 tone), the jack in the control cavity and a right-angle 3-way switch under the pickguard in the upper horn. Each harness is carefully assembled and tested in my shop and includes a wiring diagram and step-by-step installation instructions. I want you to be 100% satisfied!

What's Included
- Bourns Pro Audio 500K potentiometers, short split shaft, audio taper, 18-tooth coarse spline
- Centralab paper-in-oil (PIO) .033uF tone capacitor
- Switchcraft or Centralab 3-way right-angle toggle switch, prewired, black tip
- Switchcraft 1/4" chrome output jack
- Vintage-style Gavitt 22 AWG cloth push-back wire throughout
- Fully prewired harness on an assembly board drilled to spec (the board is for building and shipping only; it isn't installed)
- 50s wiring diagram and step-by-step installation instructions

Compatibility
- Gibson and Epiphone Explorer with 3 controls in line (2 volume, 1 tone) and the jack in the control cavity. See the control layout photo and compare it to your guitar.
- Uses a right-angle 3-way toggle that lies in the cavity under the pickguard. If your guitar uses a short straight switch, email us before ordering.
- Imported guitars (Japan, China and others) or guitars with mini pots may need the pot holes reamed to 3/8" for the Bourns full-size bushings.

Workbench Note:
The Explorer puts its three knobs in a straight line along the lower body and its switch far up in the treble horn, a long way from the control cavity. That's why this Explorer wiring harness comes with an 18" prewired switch run and pots spaced to the Explorer layout, rather than a Les Paul harness adapted to fit. Playing a 4-knob Les Paul instead?
