Les Paul Prewired Wiring Kit Short Shaft Pots PIO Tone Caps 50s Wiring - Premium 59 Series

This kit is for a LP using short shaft pots.

Our 59 LP Series Kit is our best and my own personal favorite. Gives true vintage 59 Tone. Uses Paper In Oil K40Y vintage tone caps for improved overall performance. Excellent clarity, warm and woody tones with improved sustainability. These caps are equal to or better than Bumble Bee or Vitamin Q's. We have found no better tone caps. All wired 50's style with premium new components that perform better than the stock electronics found in today's guitars. You will hear and feel the difference.

This 59 LP kit is for:

• USA Gibson Les Paul’s manufactured prior to 1977, all Epiphone LP and most other off shore LP Style using short shaft pots

What's In The 59 LP Kit:

• Bourns Pro Audio 500K potentiometers short shaft coarse spline 18 teeth, audio taper. Hand picked values for the best 59 tone.
• Paper In Oil (PIO) aged K40Y bridge tone cap. .033uf
• Paper In Oil (PIO) Aged K40Y neck tone cap. .015uf
• Gavitt cloth 22awg wire for pot ground connection.
• Assembled template hard board. Template board does not get installed. Only used to assure correct component spacing when building, shipping protection and makes your part of the installation easier. 
• 50's wiring diagram and easy to read step by step installation instructions.
• Every kit goes thru our Performance and Accuracy Testing before being shipped out. Our kits work.

NOTES:

• Each harness is custom hand built after purchase so my lead time to build your kit before shipping is 6 to 12 business days depending on my back log of kits. In stock means I have the parts in stock to build that quantity of kits.
• I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS. I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting. The very best taper available. One of the highest rated guitar pots on the market. These pots are coarse 18 teeth spline so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on. Epiphone and off shore type knobs will fit fine. We do offer a line of knobs that fit.

• If you have an imported / outside USA or Epiphone manufactured guitar you may need to modify the pot holes by opening them up to 3/8 inch to accommodate the full size Bourns pots.
