The f-hole opening is the real constraint, and it's the same one a fully hollow guitar hands you, so patience matters more than the block does. Feed the components through one at a time, in order: whichever one ends up sitting nearest the f-hole goes in first, the jack goes in last, and give the wires a little slack rather than pulling them taut so nothing snags as each piece settles into place.
